Aedín Cosgrove Set and Lighting Designer and Co Artistic Director of Pan Pan Theatre.

Aedín works as a freelance designer in all areas of professional theatre production. During 94 to 96 she enjoyed a close working collaboration with writer Enda Walsh and Director Pat Kiernan designing all aspects of the original productions of Disco Pigs, Misterman and Sucking Dublin. Later she continued working with Pat Kiernan designing a large-scale site-specific production of Phadrea's Love by Sarah Kane. During this time also designed Lighting for the National Theatre's production of The Mai by Marina Carr (winner of the Dublin Theatre Festival critics award) and was co-Artistic Director of The Pan Pan International Theatre Symposium.

Aedín designs for Pan Pan, these include Bronze Twist (Best Overall Production Dublin Fringe Festival '95), Standoffish (winner of Adelaide Festival Fringe First 2000), Cartoon, most recently lighting for Mac-Beth 7, nominated for Best Lighting, Irish Times Theatre Awards 2003,   ONE Healing with Theatre, Oedipus Loves You, the Idiots, (Dublin Theatre Festival 2007) and Set and Lighting and Costume for Playboy of the Western World in Beijing, and The Crumb Trail  (nominated for Best Lighting, Irish Times Theatre Awards, 2010). and The Rehearsal Playing the Dane , at Dublin Theatre Festival 2010, ( nominated for Irish Times Theatre Best Set Design Award 2011) and Do Di Zhu for Shanghai Dramatic Arts Centre and Irish Pavillion at Shanghai Expo.

During 2006 Aedin travelled with Director Sarah-Jane Scaife to Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and Athens Greece to document Samuel Beckett Residency, in both countries they produced Come and Go, Rough for Theatre II, Act Without Words I, Footfalls and Nacht Und Trame.

Aedín also works in Opera and Dance, designing Four Note Opera by Tom Johnson, Cinderella by Maxwell Davis, Marriage of Figaro, Mozart and Hamelin by Ian Wilson, all for Opera Theatre Company Ireland, Giselle and Delicious Death for Fluxus Dance, Beat Box Bingo and Did I Make You Up? for Catapult Dance, Turbulence and Anima Animus for Shakram, The System and Splendor for RAW productions. Aedín also works as designer for the Crash Ensemble, a contemporary classical and multimedia ensemble.
